Tandoor India is one of my favorite Indian restaurants in Santa Monica! The portions are huge, everything is delicious, and the staff are incredibly helpful and professional. I ordered the raita, saag paneer, tandoori chicken, aloo gobi, and chicken soup—every dish was excellent. Their green spicy chutney is absolutely heavenly and so addictive. They also have a parking lot, which is a huge bonus in Santa Monica. And I have to say… the people who work there are all so handsome! I’ll definitely be back.

Had a great experience. The man who attended me was friendly and accommodating. The food was very good. No complaints whatsoever. Some might see the current rating not being a 4 or above (as of the day of my review) like some of my family members, and not want to try the food. However, they tasted it and ended up liking it.

I went to this restaurant to take out one order of vegetarian thali and and order of samosa. I specifically told the lady at front dest taking my order to change saag paneer with shahi paneer and she even charged me 3$ dollars more for the change. But, when I reached home and checked my order, it had saag paneer with daal and mixed vegetable curry. The samosas weren’t cooked well too. It was my first and last time coming here. Too disappointed.

This place being rated 3.8 honestly makes no sense to me. The food has been consistently amazing. Everything tastes fresh, well-seasoned, and actually made with care. The rice is perfectly cooked, the curries are rich and flavorful without being heavy, and even the simple sides like the naan and cucumbers are done right. I’ve eaten here multiple times now and both meals were 🔥. You can tell they’re not cutting corners. Service was smooth, food came out quick, and the overall experience just felt solid. Definitely underrated. This is easily a 5-star spot in my opinion.

I found Tandoor India when I was looking for a restaurant on Pico to meet a friend for lunch. What a hidden gem! It's in a strip mall, so I never noticed it before when driving by. We had the lunch special, which came with cucumber salad, vegetables, rice, naan and dal. Lots of food at a reasonable price. Service was excellent. Danny was attentive and friendly.
